Building on 45+ years experience and desire to continue learning
The Tahtsa Group of Companies began more than four decades ago with a single logging truck near Burns Lake. Since then, we’ve expanded into multiple companies with numerous partnerships and divisions throughout British Columbia. As a family-owned business, we remain dedicated to the people and communities we serve.
To support the needs of the regions in which we operate, we’ve actively diversified our services over the years and worked hard to keep our team working.

Klaus Posselt
A life long Innovator, Klaus, with the support of his wife Angelika and family has never stopped looking for ways to build with sustainability and diversification and that is exactly what he’s done over the last 40 plus year.
From a single logging truck in the early 80s to a diversified group that operates in most natural resource sectors and is among the largest employers in the region. Klaus’ lifelong work has been geared towards building a legacy that benefits our collective communities, region, province, and family.
Stephan Posselt
One of BC’s top 10 under 40, Stephan worked his way up in the family business by getting dirty, learning the operations inside and out and taking care of his people. Don’t let his fancy title fool you, he’s a heck of an equipment operator!
Whether he’s bidding on timber sales, negotiating a contract, building partnerships or running equipment, Stephan has the confidence of all the Tahtsa Group teams to lead and empower us through any challenges that arise.
